Morale Check
This extra adds ruling around how an enemy’s morale is tested during combat encounters.
Rules
Most enemies will not fight to the end and have a Morale Attribute Score that measures their determination to stay in a fight.
When any of the following events happens during a combat encounter, make a Morale Check.
- The group’s leader is taken out.
- Half of the group is taken out.
- A lone enemy drops below half its maximum HP.
You make a Morale Check by rolling 1D for each point of Morale an enemy has.
- 1+ Hits: The enemy stays in the fight and doubles down.
- 0 Hits: The enemy surrenders or tries to flee.
