Create an Advantage
This extra lets you stash momentum in the fiction so plans have something tangible to lean on later. Call for it when someone methodically scouts, rigs, or socially primes a situation and wants those details to matter later in the story.
Each advantage you earn is permission to say how the setup helps—additions to narration that anyone can invoke to tilt the odds. Stack them up, weave them into the scene, and spend them when it is time to press forward.
Rules
To set up an opportunity that can be leveraged later by you and your allies, Make a Check to determine the outcome.
- With 2+ hits: You generate a fictional advantage for each hit you get. Any character may use these advantages when acting on the opportunity. (Track them with a die if you wish.)
- With 1 hit: You generate one fictional advantage, as above. The GM may decide to Raise the Stakes.
- With 0 hits: You fail and suffer a setback. The GM may decide to Raise the Stakes.
